Be Healthy for Good
The first event of its kind, Be Healthy for Good, featuring C4 Miles Run/Walk, brings together community members, businesses and nonprofits to improve the overall health and well-being of the community while benefiting people supported by C4.
As May is National Mental Health Awareness Month, C4 intends to raise awareness and reduce the stigma of mental illness, which affects one in every five Americans during a lifetime.
Through counseling and therapy programs, C4 empowers people as they work through some of the most difficult challenges in life. Many people who experience mental health challenges also experience challenges with their physical and emotional well-being. C4 understands that total health is a state of complete mental, physical and emotional well-being.
C4 Miles
C4 Miles Run/Walk has operated as a single event for six years. On its own, C4 Miles has drawn as many as 600 participants from throughout Illinois and as far away as Canada. Now as an expanded event, Be Healthy for Good, featuring C4 Miles, will attract individuals and businesses seeking to improve the health and well-being of the local community and its members.
