Free Legal Webinar on "Qualified" Under the ADA - May 21st - rsvp

as shared by Equip for Equality ...

The Great Lakes ADA Center will be hosting a free legal webinar on how courts are interpreting “qualified” under the ADA on May 21st from 1-2:30 CDT.  Now that plaintiffs are finding it easier to prove they have a disability under the ADA Amendments Act, the litigation landscape is shifting and one of the new legal battlegrounds is whether plaintiffs are qualified.

This session will first review how qualified is defined in the ADA and interpreted by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and then focus on how qualified is being treated in the courts.  Rachel Weisberg and Barry Taylor with Equip for Equality will be the presenters for this webinar.  Participants will receive a powerpoint presentation and a legal brief providing more detailed case analysis.

To participate in this legal webinar, go to http://www.ada-audio.org/Webinar/ADALegal/
If registered please log in, if not you will need to register.
Please note that to participate you must register at least 24 hours before the webinar.
Illinois attorneys will receive 1.5 hours of CLE credit.
