THAT ALL MAY WORSHIP: AN INTERFAITH WELCOME TO PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES It is with joy that I announce the online version of That All May Worship, an interfaith guide to transforming any congregation into a place that values, includes, and enjoys children and adults with all types of disabilities. Twenty years ago, the first print edition of That All May Worship: An Interfaith Welcome to People with Disabilities was published by the National Organization on Disability (NOD). I was then working as Director of the Religion and Disability Program at NOD and I teamed up with Ann Davie to write and edit the guide. Since then, seven updated print editions have been produced and 70 thousand copies sold. In 2009 I moved to the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) where I direct the Interfaith Initiative. My responsibility is to support people with disabilities and their families as they seek spiritual and religious access, and to bring the powerful and prophetic voice of the faith community to the 21st century disability agenda. The longer I worked on the AAPD team the clearer it became:That All May Worship needed to be made available in an online format - free of charge. Who will find That All May Worship to be useful? People with disabilities and their family members, local congregations, seminaries, religious colleges and universities, and national religious organizations. What faith groups will find That All May Worship to be useful? Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, and all who respond to God’s love through inclusive worship and service to others.
