Advocates for disabled people have dropped a discrimination lawsuit against the Philadelphia Parking Authority after a Thursday meeting where the agency approved regulations dedicating 45 taxi medallions to wheelchair accessible cabs
A promise from the Philadelphia Parking Authority to bring 150 handicapped-accessible taxicabs to the city has led advocates for people with disabilities to drop a lawsuit against the agency.
