ADA in Illinois: Reflecting on the past 25 years, today, and the next 25 years – Chicago on October 19

"ADA in Illinois: Reflecting on the past 25 years, today, and the next 25 years," will employ three professionals in the disability rights advocacy community; a mix of advocates who were instrumental in the passage of the original legislation and are ardent supporters to uphold the law for the people it helps.

The general theme of the panel discussion is the ADA in Illinois and will focus on three themes: (1) reflecting on the past 25 years, (2) current events, and (3) the experts’ vision for the next 25 years.

The panel will feature: Marca Bristo – President and CEO, Access Living
Barry Taylor – Vice President for Civil Rights and Systemic Litigation, Equip for Equality
Robin Jones – Principal Investigator and Project Director, Great Lakes ADA
