Chicago Office for People with Disabilities Hosts Discussion about Fire Safety and Tenants Rights on March 22nd

Join the Chicago Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD) an engaging presentation by the Chicago Fire Department in which they will provide information on the importance of having a working smoke detector, leaving cooking and space heaters unattended, as well as over loading extension cords. Plus many more fire safety tips!
Lawyer’s Committee for Better Housing will discuss and assist renters in understanding the legal remedies available under the Chicago Residential Landlord and Tenant Ordinance. Lawyers Committee for Better Housing is funded in part with a grant from the Department of Planning and Development.
