Wanted to share info that was shared (ty), this will be of interest for many reasons. With the aging of my fellow 'baby-boomers' accessibility design will be a major part of living a independent life.
Pensioners are not just causing financial problems for the city of Chicago. We are also underprepared for the social services and housing burden of our aging population. What can designers do to prepare for the largest American generation—Baby Boomers—to achieve their desire to stay active in their communities as they age?
