Tyrone Howard (54) of Chicago has been charged with taking $28 from a woman in a wheelchair on Chicago's West Side. The robbery of a 62-year-old woman in a wheelchair was caught on surveillance video from a camera at an ATM on Chicago Avenue, just east of Western, Chicago Police records said.
The woman was in a wheelchair "without any possible way to defend herself," according to the Chicago Police records .
He allegedly choked her and demanded money, and she handed over $28 and change, according to the records.
Howard was charged with robbery, and Judge Adam Bourgeois Jr. set his bond at $350,000.
Howard is scheduled to be back in court July 17, 2015.
