'Going Home Campaign' continues to push for Murray Developmental Center institution closure in Illinois - PUBLIC HEARING Oct 9, 2013

Ability Chicago continues in support of the Illinois statewide coalition called the “Going Home Campaign.”

The goal of the campaign is to build public and legislative support for the closure of the Murray Developmental Center. The next step in the campaign is participation at a public hearing in early October. The Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board has scheduled a public hearing on the closure of Murray on: October 9, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Centralia.
