Artists submit work for 'ADA (American Disability Act) Art Exhibit Chicago July 16-19, 2013'

Tuesday, July 16, 2013 to Friday, July 19, 2013

Artists and Writers (professional, non-professional, and emerging artists and writers) over the age of 10, who have a disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, are invited to submit visual and literary artworks for the Exhibition. Artworks may be sold and artists receive 100% of al sales proceeds. The Art Exhibit Program is one component of the Illinois Department of Human Service's ADA Celebration. Both indiviudals and organizations are invited to participate. 5 - 10 artworks per person will be exhibited. This is the 23rd Anniversary of the ADA Celebration Exhibit.

Artists and Writers are also invited to send postcards to be in the 3.5 x 5 show, the Mail Art Postcard show, based on the ADA theme: Breaking Down the Barriers.
