Blind grandpa David Kuhn running 11,000 miles for granddaughter with cystic fibrosis

A blind man from DeKalb, IL. will run in the Chicago Marathon this weekend, as part of a mission to run 11,000 miles for his granddaughter, Kylie, as she fights cystic fibrosis.
David Kuhn sits with his Cystic Fibrosis Superhero Chicago Marathon teammate, WGN Meteorologist Demetrius Ivory.
He started running last May in Seattle.
He expects the challenge will take him two years to complete.
The 62-year-old estimates that he’s about 1,000 miles into the journey that will eventually take him the length of 425 marathons.
