6th Annual DuPage (Illinois) Center for Independent Living Stroll & Roll - September 17th 2011

The DuPage Center for Independent Living (DCIL)
in Glen Ellyn, Illinois will host their 6th annual Stroll & Roll fundraiser on Saturday, September 17th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the east shelter at Herrick Lake in Wheaton, IL. The event will feature a picnic, a silent auction and entertainment. The Stroll & Roll is a fun activity to encourage physical fitness while raising funds and awareness for the important work of the DuPage Center for Independent Living. Participants are encouraged to support the DCIL by pledging their support for the Center on a per lap basis. At the event, participants are welcome to walk or roll along the 1 mile path that encircles Herrick Lake. After circling the lake along the path, participants can return to the east shelter to enjoy lunch and bid on items in the silent auction. All proceeds from the event benefit DuPage Center for Independent Living, a not for profit which empowers people with disabilities in DuPage County to live independently in their communities.

The 6th annual Stroll & Roll fundraiser is generously supported by six sponsors.
