Mission, Vision & Philosophy
Our Mission
Community Counseling Centers of Chicago (C4), a behavioral health advocate and social service provider, offers quality, comprehensive customer-oriented services tailored to the diversity of its consumers.
Our Vision
Community Counseling Centers of Chicago (C4) will be, and will be recognized as, essential to the well-being of the communities we serve.
Philosophy
C4 believes that people recovering from mental illness, substance use, and emotional trauma are able to live, work and thrive in the community. Treatment is viewed as a partnership with the individual, C4 staff, and when possible, a network of family and friends. Working together, this supportive network enables an individual to heal in a safe, trusted environment marked by professionalism and skill.
C4 also believes in a holistic approach to treatment, understanding that recovery depends on many factors. As a result, C4 offers a comprehensive range of services designed to help adults, children and families cope with varied behavioral health challenges. Its reputation as a leading mental health agency has enabled C4 to develop partnerships that have strengthened its impact in the community.
At C4’s five community mental health centers, we provide services for children, adolescents and adults. We help people manage mental health problems, overcome substance use and recover from traumas including sexual assault and abuse. Call 773.769.0205 to schedule an appointment.
