Registration
Whether you’re running or walking with your family, co-workers, friends, congregation or individually, United Way welcomes you to participate in this year’s LIVE UNITED 5k Run/Walk. Pre-registration is available online through Wednesday, May 2. Space is limited, so be sure to register early. Registration includes a short-sleeved race t-shirt and complimentary admission into Cantigny’s park, gardens and museums.
Fees
Pre-registration fees (by 5/2):
Ages 12+: $25
Ages 5-11: $10
Day-of registration fees (must be paid by cash or check):
Ages 12+: $30
Ages 5-11: $15

Team Challenge
The LIVE UNITED 5k is a great opportunity to spend time with friends, family and co-workers while taking strides for your community’s healthcare. We encourage teams to register online and create their own personal fundraising page. Then, email your friends, family and co-workers to support your efforts. The top three team fundraisers will receive prizes!

Sponsors play a big role in helping United Way provide health services to residents in our region. As a sponsor of the LIVE UNITED 5k Run/Walk, you will receive acknowledgement at the event, race participation, post-race exhibit space and much more. Volunteers
United Way is seeking volunteers to help with a variety of different tasks to make the LIVE UNITED 5k Run/Walk a success. We encourage groups of volunteers from local corporations and organizations. All volunteers will receive a t-shirt and volunteer certificate.
The Course
The course is a flat 5K route through Cantigny Park, starting and ending at the Visitor’s Center and passing through some of Cantigny’s signature attractions: tanks, museums, beautiful gardens and landscaping. Walkers are welcome to bring strollers but are kindly asked to congregate at the back of the starting line. Pets, bicycles and skates are not allowed.
This race will benefit The Southeast DuPage Health Initiative which is a free mental and medical health facility in Westmont for low-income adults. United Way focuses on strengthening families by providing income, education and health resources in communities of greatest need.
