Medicaid Restructuring Under the American Health Care Act and Nonelderly Adults with Disabilities

The Kaiser Family Foundation released a report, discussing how the 7 million people who are non-elderly adults living in the community and participating in Medicaid will be affected by the American Health Care Act (AHCA). This brief includes a look at the types of insurance that serve this group, and how this is related to employment.

This report describes Medicaid’s role for nearly 7 million nonelderly adults with disabilities living in the community to help inform the debate about the American Health Care Act’s proposals to end enhanced federal funding under the ACA and reduce federal Medicaid funding under a per capita cap. This is a great report that you can share with your elected officials.
