Chicago July 24th: Annual Beyond The Waters Beach Party: FREE event open to individuals with physical disabilities
The 8th annual Beyond The Waters Beach Party is going to be something to talk about! This FREE community event is open to all individuals with physical disabilities, their family, and friends. There are a variety of adaptive sports including kayaking, paddle boarding, cycling, volleyball and other beach sports and games. The event also features free BBQ food and beverages, Live DJ, Live Music, Kids Zone, and a community exhibit area.
Last year the event was attended by more than 150 people with disabilities as well as hundreds of friends, family, and volunteers.

Founded in 1999, Adaptive Adventures is a 501(c)(3) that was created to provide life-changing opportunities for individuals with physical disabilities and their families. Through freedom of mobility, the organization empowers individuals and helps them build the confidence and gain the inspiration to accomplish their life goals.
To date, the organization has built a strong community of over 1,700 athletes participating in 5,000 lessons in 23 states. With your help, we will impact the lives of many more individuals so they can become unstoppable in pursuit of their dreams.
