REV UP: Register, Educate, Vote and Use your Power as a Person with a Disability!

The American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD)  is making the Disability Voters Count with REV UP! the power of the disability community is important in the 2016 election. Check out AAPD's voting resource page to learn more about how to register, voting accommodations, candidate stances on disability issues, and events in your state. To date, REV UP campaigns are taking shape in California, Massachusetts, Montana, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Texas, Washington DC, and online. Start your own campaign or join one of these to help make the DISABILITY VOTE count!
Full political participation for Americans with disabilities is a top priority. AAPD works with state and national coalitions on effective, non-partisan campaigns to eliminate barriers to voting,promote accessibility of voting technology and polling places; educate voters about issues and candidates; promote turnout of voters with disabilities across the country; and protect eligible voters’ right to participate in elections.
AAPD will advocate for policies that allow people with disabilities to fully participate in the political process, including ensuring the accessibility of polling locations and through promoting the availability of accessible voting technology.
