Chicago January 23rd - Victory Gardens Theatre Access Project 'TOO MUCH LIGHT MAKES THE BABY GO BLIND'

TOO MUCH LIGHT MAKES THE BABY GO BLIND

We've been performing our flagship show, Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind, for over 27 years now. The show is constantly changing and evolving and our company has done the same.

Last year we realized that there were large communities in Chicago that we weren't reaching. Accessibility has always been a challenge at the Neo-Futurarium because of our second-floor space, limited resources, and the chaotic/fast-paced nature of Too Much Light.

As a first step, we've launched Neo-Access, an initiative committed to making our work more physically, geographically, and culturally accessible.

We've partnered with Victory Gardens' Access Project for two accessible performances of TML, with the first performance on January 23rd at 7:30pm.The Access Project provides audio description, closed captioning, touch tours, American Sign Language interpreters, and braille programs, in addition to a space that is compliant with the  Americans with Disabilities Act. It will be Too Much Light as you've never experienced it before and we hope, with your help, it will be an encounter with Too Much Light that many audience members have been unable to experience until now.

We'd love to share this fresh attempt with you.
