National Center on Senior Transportation - Webinar July 30th - Safe & Accessible Pedestrian Travel for Older Adults

The National Center on Senior Transportation (NCST) will host a live webinar on Safe & Accessible Pedestrian Routes on July 30th at 2 p.m. Eastern (11 a.m. Pacific).Registration is open through July 29th. Programs featured include Miami's Safe Steps-Pasos Seguros and Currituck County's new Corolla Village Wayfinding & Circulation Plan. Other concepts explored include New York City's Safe Routes for Seniors and Elder Districts and shared street projects in the U.S. and abroad.    

Learn ideas for creating safe pedestrian routes for older adults and all pedestrians in your community and hear about ways to engage older adults in the transportation planning process!
