This April 8th, you are invited to a open community discussion on the stigma of mental health in our society. We are hoping to use this event as a catalyst to spur on future legislative and community efforts that will help us better understand and treat mental illness in Illinois. Held at Riveredge Hospital in Forest Park, this forum event will offer opportunities for everyone in attendance to ask questions about mental illness to mental health professionals from a variety of institutions.
For this event, I am partnering with Riveredge Hospital and the Glen Ellyn Area Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. to bring you this unique and important opportunity to learn about mental health and help improve your community.
