The U.S. Access Board enforces the Architectural Barriers Act (ABA), which requires access to federally funded facilities, through the investigation of complaints from the public. Members of the public concerned about the accessibility of a facility that may have been built or renovated with Federal funds can file a complaint with the Board under the ABA. The Board is developing a new online complaint form that will make it easier and more convenient to file complaints and will improve the Board’s process for handling and tracking complaints.
The new ABA complaint form is available for review and comment until June 3, as indicated in a notice published in the Federal Register. The form incorporates improvements suggested by commenters in response to an earlier version made available for review in December.
