Accessible and usable workplace technologies, and various types of assistive technology, are paramount to helping people with disabilities succeed on the job and deliver for their employers. Reflecting this, ODEP has a long history of exploring policies that will advance the development and adoption of accessible, interoperable and usable information and communication technologies (ICT) in the workplace.

Please join ODEP for a live audio podcast, Inspiring Innovation to Advance Accessible Technology, as part of the AT Works online educational series. During this free event, panelists will discuss their perspectives on open government collaborations, stakeholder engagement and developer engagement as a means to advancing accessible technology in the workplace.

What: A live audio discussion with Kathleen Martinez, Assistant Secretary of Labor for Disability Employment Policy; Greg Elin, Chief Data Officer, Federal Communications Commission; Sheila Campbell, Director, Center for Excellence in Digital Government in the Office of Citizen Services and Innovative Technologies, General Services Administration; and moderator Tom Temin, Anchor, Federal News Radio.

When: Wednesday, September 5th from 2:00pm-3:00pm EST

Who: Employers, workers, policymakers, advocates and others interested in learning more about accessible technology and its impact on the employment of people with disabilities.
