Chicago Voluntary Emergency Registry For People With Disabilities & Seniors - info Video, & Sign Language video

The City of Chicago has created a voluntary registry for individuals who may need assistance in the event of an emergency. In accordance with Illinois Public Act 096-0788, Section 35, registry participants are advised that the provision of special needs information will not result in preferential treatment. 

Chicagoans with disabilities can sign up for the registry, which was created to provide first responders & other emergency personnel with important information about the type of assistance individuals with disabilities & seniors would need in an emergency.
