AAPD Twitter town hall meeting with White House officials of top concern to people with disabilities: DEC 15, 2011


Join us on Twitter on Thursday, December 15th @ 1pm, for a Twitter town hall meeting with White House officials.


AAPD representatives will meet at the White House to discuss issues of top concern to people with disabilities: employment, healthcare and transportation. It is crucial that you be a part of the conversation. Through Twitter, you can ask important questions, share your concerns with the White House.

So many issues affect community members like us: what does recent legislation aimed at increasing employment opportunities for people with disabilities mean to my job search? How will my state be affected by Medicaid cuts? Will the number of accessible taxi cabs in my city increase?
