ACTION ALERT

When Typhoon Haiyan struck the Philippines in November, it left unimaginable devastation in its wake. Millions of Filipinos—including my own relatives in the hard-hit village of Guiuan—have since struggled to find basic necessities like water and shelter, all while facing the stark reality of a storm that cost thousands of lives.

This disaster has prompted people from all around the world to stand in solidarity with the Philippines.

Tonight, I'll join Handicap International, a charity that has worked in the Philippines since 1985, in delivering your sentiments directly to the Philippines Ambassador to the U.S.

Please, add a personal message of support to the one I wrote in the book of condolences at the Philippines Embassy.
James, let’s show the people of the Philippines that the world is standing with them!

Sincerely,
Jessica Cox
