Opening Ceremonies

The Chicago Park District will conduct the 45th Annual Special Olympics Chicago Spring Games at Eckersall Stadium and Park at 2423 East 82nd Street from May 8-10, 2013.
The theme “Born In Chicago” celebrates the historical movement of Special Olympics and the unique roots it has in our city and our organization. Special Olympics is the largest amateur sports competition in the world (3.7 million athletes in 170 countries). This year, the games will have over 3,200 athletes competing in over 30 track and field events.
Pricing:
The opening ceremonies is free to attend and is open to the public.
