Join the Disability Justice Mentoring Collective - Access Living | Chicago, IL Feb 2012

Look no further than the Disability Justice Mentoring Collective, a mentoring project for young people with disabilities

The DJ/MC is dedicated to the idea that finding and naming the disability experience in relation to our overall stories as human beings is an important process for social change.

Mentors and mentees will not only spend quality one-on-one time together, but also participate in workshops to understand and change the world around us.

We’re seeking dedicated adults willing to spend time mentoring and discovering the potential in a high school student with a disability.

Adults with disabilities, non-disabled adults with disability experience and/or people of color are strongly encouraged to apply.

There are also slots available for mentees.

Mentoring will begin on February 18, 2012 and run through November 2012.

Contact us today to learn more about becoming a DJ/MC Mentor and join the disability justice movement at Access Living!
